Annual Leadership Summit on Health Disparities
Washington, D.C.
April 26-27, 2005

John and Diane were again invited to the Annual Leadership Summit where John served as Master of Ceremonies last year. Sponsored by the National Minority Health Month Foundation and the AMA, the conference provides a forum for public and private leaders with a vested interest in eliminating health status disparities. The keynote speaker was Newt Gingrich, now founder of The Center for Health Transformation, who echoed the theme of our friend and founder of the National Minority Health Foundation Gary Puckrein when he said, "I prefer the policy of 'yes, if' which begins brainstorming, rather than 'No, because' which ends it."

Among the valuable information we want to share from the conference is the newly launched Partnership for Prescription Assistance program. Please check the link to find out how you may qualify for free medications.
